He was a Palestinian hero and a freedom fighter. His detailed reports on violations of human rights exposed the brutal practices of the Israeli Security Services. All this ended when Bassem Eid started to investigate human rights violations at home, done by the Palestinian Security Services. He investigated and reported about tortures, and became an outspoken critic of the Palestinian leadership. Then, one night, he was kidnapped from his home. A story about how a Palestinian refugee became one of the most important and contoversial human right activists in the world today.
